About the Site
This site is has six primary purposes:
  1. To provide you with "images of possibility."  That is, what is POSSIBLE in education today that is very different from what we have seen and what most of us think about when we think about teaching, learning, and schooling today.
  2. To share the stories of how these ventures and new possibilities started – closing the gap between what other have started and what YOU can do
  3. To provide inspiration for what can be – and to inspire you to think about what YOU really want to do, to think big, and think that it is possible!
  4. To provide ideas, inspiration, and resources that can help you pursue your possibilities
  5. To provide you with some insight as to how to "make it happen."
  6. And, finally, to provide you with possible connections, colleagues, and comrades who can help you think about your idea, help you think about how to pursue it, and provide you with some tips, tricks, and tools to DO IT!
I have started this site because there are too many of us who feel like current schooling as we now know it is doing a gross disservice to our youth – and the adults that serve them.  And I have seen that others have been able to break out of the box and develop and start new educational opportunities and possibilities for others.

I want to share this with others.  And perhaps these ideas, and these possibilities, and these stories, connections, possible supports and insights can help YOU to consider pursuing YOUR idea as well.  To have the heart of a lion, with the courage to "make a difference."

The more of us doing so, the better.
